The 2025 Quality People Women’s Grade competition gets underway this Friday 11th April, with all six Division 1 clubs in action under lights as the Territory’s top female players take centre stage.
PINT will take on Palmerston at DXC Arena, Nightcliff host Waratah at Darwin Mazda Nightcliff Oval, and Tracy Village will meet Southern Districts at Cazalys Arena in the opening round of T20 matchups.
This year marks a new chapter in women's cricket in the Top End, with the competition supported by long-time Women's Cricket partner Quality People Recruitment, who have backed the women’s competition since 2019.
In a major boost for participation, the 2025 season sees the introduction of a Division 2, providing more opportunities for both competitive and social players. Division 2 will begin on Friday 2nd May, kicking off with an entry-level ‘pairs format’ before moving into T20 cricket later in the season.
For the first time ever, clubs have also recruited female interstate and import players, strengthening the standard of play and building new connections across Australian Cricket.
All Division 1 teams will play each other twice across the season, with every match held on Friday nights under lights, creating a consistent weekly platform for friends, families, and players to engage with the game.
Finals dates have been confirmed:
- Division 2 Grand Final: Friday 22nd August
- Division 1 Grand Final: Friday 5th September
