March Volunteer of the Month – Lily Gellel

NT Cricket, in partnership with AANT, is delighted to announce Lily Gellel from Tracy Village Cricket Club has been named March's ‘AANT Volunteer of the Month'.

From the young age of 11, Lily has been an active volunteer at Tracy Village Cricket Club (TVCC), making an impact on both juniors and seniors within the club.

Throughout her volunteering journey, Lily has consistently supported various club activities including junior presentation setups, sign-on days, canteen duties, club photo days, and the coordination of Pink Stumps Day. Her dedication extends to training new scorers in the junior leagues, where she passes on her knowledge and enthusiasm for cricket scoring.

Despite not being a cricket player herself, Lily's commitment to TVCC is unwavering. She is known for her reliability and eagerness to help, often being the first to volunteer for any task. Her involvement in 2025 is especially commendable as she balances her significant volunteer work with her Year 12 studies.

Reflecting on her volunteering, Lily shared:

"I enjoy volunteering at events and scoring. While I don’t play cricket, I like to help out and find it interesting. It’s rewarding to support the club and see our teams succeed."

Lily's dedication has made her a role model at TVCC. Both juniors and seniors admire her work ethic and leadership, even though she has no family members currently playing in the club.

As the Volunteer of the Month, Lily will receive a 12-month Premium AANT Membership and a $250 United fuel voucher as recognition for her invaluable contributions to the club.
