Hello DDCC Members,

With less than 4 weeks until the 2025 DDCC season begins, here are key updates and action items to help you prepare.

March Updates

🟢  Team Entries - Due by Saturday 15th March:

Please submit your team entries via this link: Team Entries Form. You can submit an early indication and update it as changes evolve.

 

🟢  Cricket Australia National Community Cricket Survey - Monday 17th March:

Australian Cricket is passionate about understanding and supporting the experience within community cricket. Please fill out this quick 5-minute survey: Community Cricket Survey.

 

🟢  Captains Media Day - Wednesday 19th March:

Please notify your club captains. The time is 4pm-6pm, with group photos starting at 5pm. Please ensure players are in full one-day uniform. Further details will be communicated to Club Presidents.

 

🟢  PlayHQ Training Webinar - Wednesday 9th April:

Join PlayCricket's E-Scoring & Match Day Webinar to prepare for the Winter '25 season. Learn how to manage team stats, navigate the system, score matches effectively, and handle match details. 🟢  FrogBox Education Webinar - Wednesday 26th March:

A FrogBox education webinar is scheduled for Wednesday 26th March. Registration link will be provided closer to the date.

 

🟢  Community Coaching Course - Friday 28th March:

Please promote this course across your clubs. Register via Community Coaching Course Link.

 

🟢  Season Launch Function - Saturday 5th April:

The April 5th T20 launch day will feature a VIP hospitality function for government, sponsors, NT Cricket Board, Club Presidents, and Female/Junior Coordinators. Invites will be issued soon.

 

🟢  Paid Positions Available:

  • Under 9's Venue Coordinator: Seeking to appoint two roles with a $2,000 honorarium to assist in delivering the DDCC U9s Competition.   
  • Content Creator: Looking for passionate and creative individuals to assist the media team in creating web articles, press releases and digital content.

🟢  Female Interstate Subsidy:

For the reimbursement of expenses, clubs must lodge an application stating the player/s' expected contribution to:

  • On-field performance & competition standards.
  • Growth & development of the club’s female program.
  • Support for coaching and junior initiatives (e.g., Cricket Blast).

 

🟢  Interstate Exemptions:

We will monitor PlayHQ Transfers & Permits. Any player transferring from an interstate club or competition will be classified as an Interstate Player unless an approved exemption applies. For players you believe qualify for an exemption, please complete the DDCC Interstate Player Exemption Form.

 

🟢 Tribunal Panel:

Please help spread the word by sharing and promoting the Tribunal Commissioners EOI Form within your networks: Tribunal Commissioners EOI Form.
