NT Cricket and our proud partners at AANT are excited to announce Tanya Trull of Complete Construction Cricket Club in Alice Springs as the recipient of October’s ‘AANT Volunteer of the Month’ Award.
October Volunteer of the Month - Tanya Trull
Tanya, who serves as the Vice President of Complete Construction Cricket Club, has gone above and beyond her role, showcasing immense dedication and leadership despite minimal prior cricket experience. Stepping into the position as part of a new leadership team, Tanya has taken on a wide array of responsibilities.
From managing and coordinating the club's transition from MyCricket to PlayHQ, to designing and organising the team’s uniforms, Tanya has been at the forefront of nearly every major initiative within the club. She is the first point of contact for players, captains, junior parents, sponsors, and other stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation of both junior and senior teams.
In addition to her administrative duties, Tanya has organised social events, managed social media, and even assisted in the club’s Blasters and Under 10 programs. Her tireless work ethic has contributed significantly to the club’s smooth operations and development, while also fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all involved.
Nominating Tanya for this award, a representative from the club highlighted her ability to seamlessly juggle multiple responsibilities and noted her steep learning curve since taking on the role:
“Without Tanya’s incredible efforts, many of these tasks would have fallen to a wider committee. Her commitment to the club’s success has been nothing short of remarkable, and we are truly thankful for everything she has done.”
Despite the challenges of balancing such a wide range of tasks, Tanya has even found time to play a few games of cricket and attend junior matches, demonstrating her passion for both the sport and her club.
Reflecting on her journey and the club, Tanya shared:
“I love every bit of Complete Construction Works Cricket Club, from volunteering on weekends, to playing, to the admin side of things. It’s a family-friendly club with parents, mums and daughters playing cricket together, sons and fathers, plus everyone else that makes our club a family.”
Tanya will receive a 12-month Premium AANT Membership along with a $250 United fuel voucher as part of her award.
Nominations are now open for November’s AANT Volunteer of the Month. If you would like to nominate a valued volunteer at your club, this month’s nomination form can be found by clicking here.
